High efficiency particulate air filter (HEPA) is one of the hottest technologies used in air purification. The standard HEPA filter can absorb 99.7% of suspended particles with the size of 0.3 micron (0.3 micron is the most difficult size to filter), but its wind resistance is relatively large, which is rarely used in air purifiers. Actually, the HEPA declared by air purifier manufacturers is not a real HEPA. Its filtration efficiency is slightly lower than that of HEPA, and its wind resistance is also relatively low. Whether it is a real HEPA or a propaganda HEPA, it makes the inhaled air fresher and cleaner. The filter absorbs chemical smoke, bacteria, dust particles and pollen.
